Headquarters Interns

Congratulations to Brothers Anthony Leyro and Zachary Twyman for receiving internships at Kappa Alpha Psi Headquarters in February 2010. These are privileged positions and difficult to obtain. Shoutout to the Lambda Nupes working to help brothers all across the nation. Special thanks to Brother Andre Early.

Step Correct – January 1, 2010

On New Years Day, Brother Damon DeShields and the Goon Squad Philadelphia All-Star step team competed in Step Correct in New York. Brothers Anthony Powell, Rohan Arjun, and Devin DeShields (SP 06) made the trip to New York for support. There was also a surprise visit from Brother Derrick Issac (SP 05)

Mastery Charter School – November 12, 2009

The Lambda Nupes team up with other NPHC organizations and take some time out of their busy schedules to put on a step exhibition and talk to students about the importance of applying to colleges at Mastery Charter School.

AIDS Walk – October 18, 2009

The Lambda Nupes participated in the AIDS Walk at The Philadelphia Art Museum and raised over $600 in donations and sponsorships. The 8.4 mile walk was well worth it, as all proceeds went towards support for organizations providing HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention education, counseling and testing, and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Red Light Special – October 10, 2009

The Lambda Nupes provided a classy event for the Temple University campus. Held in the Student Center Underground, this event allowed students to dress up, enjoy some food, and have a good time.
